THREADS

THREADS is a documentary film and long-form research project that maps the complex, often contradictory terrain of human intimacy in the 21st century. Through interviews, confessions, and intimate vérité footage, it explores why people love the way they do — and why what society calls deviant is often just honest. The film threads together three parallel investigations: the rise of AI companions and sex robots entering mainstream relationships; the growing normalization of non-monogamy, polyamory, and alternative relationship structures; and the deep question of identity — who we are when we love, who we're allowed to be, and who decides. THREADS is not a shock doc. It is a human one.
